Terms & Conditions

Last updated on August 6, 2026

This is a starting template for terms & conditions, not legal advice. Fill in your business and service-specific details and have the text reviewed by a lawyer — especially when reusing it for client projects.

1. Who are we?

Websexpert [FILL IN: full company name, legal form, and company registration number — set via dashboard → Business details] — hereinafter "Websexpert", "we" or "us".

2. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to any visit to this website and to any quote, order, or agreement between Websexpert and a client, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Our services

Websexpert designs and develops websites, online shops, mobile applications, and SaaS platforms for SMEs. The specific scope, timeline, and price of a project are always agreed in writing beforehand in a quote [FILL IN: reference to your quote/contract process].

4. Quotes and formation of the agreement

Our quotes are non-binding and valid for [FILL IN: validity period, e.g. 30 days], unless stated otherwise. An agreement is only formed after written confirmation (e.g. by email) from both parties.

5. Prices and payment

All prices stated are [FILL IN: excl./incl. VAT]. Payment terms, deposits, and due dates are agreed per project in the quote. In case of late payment, we reserve the right to apply [FILL IN: late payment interest, suspension of services, ...] in accordance with applicable law.

6. Delivery

Proposed delivery timelines are indicative. Delays caused by late or incomplete input from the client (text, images, feedback) cannot be attributed to Websexpert.

7. Intellectual property

Upon full payment, the client obtains usage rights to the delivered website as agreed in the quote. Websexpert retains the right to reuse developed components, templates, and source code parts for other projects, provided they contain no trade secrets of the client.

8. Maintenance, hosting, and availability

Unless otherwise agreed, a project delivery does not include ongoing maintenance, hosting, or a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. These services can be agreed separately.

9. Liability

Websexpert provides its services with due care but cannot be held liable for indirect damages (e.g. loss of revenue) resulting from the use of the delivered website, except in case of proven intent or gross negligence.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement in accordance with the terms stated in the individual quote or agreement. [FILL IN: notice period, conditions.]

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law. In case of disputes, only the courts of [FILL IN: judicial district] have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the possibility of an amicable settlement.
